EDUCATION PATHWAY

Graduates of the Business Intelligence Strand  will have the capability to design, maintain, and manipulate databases, record data, write scripts and TSQL to retrieve data, back up data and complete data recoveries in case of disasters. The graduate will be able to deal with data warehouses, create analytical reports, online analytical processing and online transaction processing using data mining tools. Moreover, they will have the knowledge of project management and the ability to coordinate a team of IT professionals to meet projects requirements and provide deliverables before deadlines.

 

Graduates of the Software Development strand will have the capability to develop, design and implement the software as well as testing, debugging and problem solving. Moreover, they will have the ability adapt certain technologies, by implementing them to solve real-world problems.

 

Graduates of the Cyber Security Strand will be able to work effectively with other technical staff to implement security controls in an organisation as well as improving the security operation in an environment. The graduate will be able to conduct systematic penetration tests in information systems and analyse the security of the system. They will also be able to handle security incidents and carry out forensics investigation in order to collect, examine, analyse and report the digital evidence.
